Who is Rosalie?

Rosalie was my great-grandmother and my namesake.

I remember the day she passed when I was eleven.

I was wearing a pink bugs bunny nightgown 
and when my young, innocent mind was told this news,

I hugged my Daddy so tight, filled with a sadness I didn't understand.

I may not have had a chance to know her as a woman,

but I choose to honor her by using her beautiful name here,

where beautiful things are made in her memory.
