A Gift for Baby Colton

Some dear friends of ours are expecting baby Colton in just a couple short weeks and Handmade by Rosalie wanted to gift the parents-to-be with something for his farm themed room. Because this was a surprise, we weren't able to see his bedding before hand. In order to get the inspiration we needed, we visited our local Hobby Lobby and went on the search for farm animals! After browsing the sticker section, we settled on the stickers below to serve as our inspiration.

Please note: we did not buy the stickers, we took this picture only and hand drew the images on to the canvas before painting them!

These cute little animals then inspired the following painting for baby Colton's room!

Want to give a gift but don't know the exact bedding choice or nursery scheme? Let us be your design center and create the perfect token of your affection for your loved one!

Baby Emma

We love designing paintings for babies, and baby Emma was no exception! Her mommy-to-be, Courtney, chose this beautiful set by BananaFish called "Love Bird" for her nursery and we were instantly inspired by the spring colors and sweet birdies.

Here are a couple of inspiration photos:

The hamper below served as our more direct source of inspiration!

Keep in mind, we never saw this set in person before creating Emma's piece! We can do the SAME for you, just send us a picture of your bedding or let us know who the designer is.

Stay tuned for sweet baby Emma's baby shower invitations that were also custom designed by Handmade by Rosalie!

Mr. & Mrs. Harris

We had the privilege of creating 40 wedding announcements for the new Mr. & Mrs. Harris. The design process started when we were contacted by the bride, Stephanie. She said she was eloping to her fiance, Michael, because he was about to deploy with the Army so they wanted to do a wedding announcement with their happy news. The message she wanted to convey was that Michael held the key to her heart, and she held the key to his. We knew Stephanie wasn't afraid of color and wanted to incorporate the color mocha and was considering wearing a pink rose in her hair. We were very please with how this design came together!

Each element of this invitation was personally designed, hand stamped, hand drawn and hand cut.

We can do any type of invitation, announcement or card, so please come to with us with your ideas and let us brainstorm with you, just like we did with Stephanie!

Norah's Name

We are waiting for Norah's mom and dad to finish her custom bedding to match, but we wanted to give a sneak peek at our latest project.

For this 5 panel personalized canvas art, we used the toile fabric chosen by her mom to create the letters, hand mixed the pink paint to match the exact shade used in the nursery and trimmed each panel with black and white gingham ribbon to highlight the fabric accents that will be found in her sweet room.

We look forward to showing how well this compliments Norah's nursery, but for now we wanted to give you a look at how well it was used at the baby shower celebrating Norah's upcoming arrival!

Baby Norah

Norah's mommy had a vision: a sweet pink, black and white room for her soon-to-be little girl. When we started brainstorming on how to design her baby shower invitations, the damask pattern immediately came to mind. Here was an inspiration photo:

We wanted to stay with this classy feel, so to give guests the first taste of the little lady Norah Grace is destined to be, her baby shower invitations stayed true to black, white and baby pink!

These invitations are 8.5" by 5.5" and were housed in a beautiful black envelope with a simple white damask stamp applied to the outside flap. These clients chose to upgrade to a custom envelope liner to match their invitations. We think it adds an added touch of sophistication and personalization and encourage you to pursue this option with your order!

Baby Pierson

I had the privilege to design an order of 75 custom baby shower invitations for soon-to-be baby boy Pierson and his parents, Miranda and Nick. I was excited when I saw my first photo of their choice of bedding, "Team Safari" by Lambs & Ivy. The ideas started forming right away and I was excited to get started! Here was my inspiration photo:

Here is the finished design! Shown is a 5x7 invitation and our basic envelope with a single stamp on the inner flap.

A lot of love, time and work went in to creating 75 copies of this design.
Each piece was cut from a hand-drawn stencil and detailed by hand-drawn details such as the lion's face, the football lacing and the alligator's eye and star.

Next we hand tied each set and attached a backed "Handmade by Rosalie" tag.

Finally, we framed a special copy for Miranda and Nick. I know from being a mom myself that having a framed version of something as special as your baby's shower invitation is a cherished memento. Every order placed through Handmade by Rosalie comes with an included framed copy of your special design!

We loved working on this project and learned many valuable lessons about perfecting our craft. We hope you give us the opportunity to show you how special a handmade invitation can be!

Baby Garrett

We would like to introduce to you little Garrett Owens who is posing here with a piece of personalize art Handmade by Rosalie made just for him! We created this particular piece before Garrett made his big arrival and his parents had chosen not to find out the gender of their little one who was on-the-way. We made them this neutral painting simply based off pictures of their custom bedding.
